IDM Fire Truck Mobile Fusion Communication System

1.                      Overview

This scheme is used to provide complete high-speed wireless communication transmission, audio and video fusion communication, and satellite positioning functions between 2 fire trucks and 1 command vehicle, while also considering communication transmission safety and reliability, achieving dynamic display of one platform and one image. Real time monitoring of vehicle dynamics during firefighting and rescue operations.

2.                      Tsystem functions

This system consists of one command vehicle and two firefighting vehicles. The command vehicle and fire truck are interconnected through wireless communication methods (LTE coverage or MESH self-organizing network). As a mobile command center, the command vehicle realizes voice communication, video communication, and control management functions with fire trucks.

The system implements the following functions:

(1). Support voice and video communication functions between the command vehicle and three fire trucks;

(2). During the voice and video call between the command vehicle and the fire truck, the fire truck monitoring camera video can be scheduled;

(3). The command vehicle can view the video feedback from the onboard monitoring cameras of two fire trucks or conduct voice monitoring;

(4). The driving trajectory of the fire truck can be reported in real-time to the command vehicle;

(5). According to actual needs, the wireless communication method between the command vehicle and the fire truck can choose 4G LTE coverage or MESH self-organizing network mode;

(6). The vehicle is equipped with a highly integrated onboard individual terminal that supports satellite positioning, POE power supply, and can be connected to onboard POE cameras and other POE intercom terminals. Optional MESH communication module or LTE communication module, supporting built-in 20000mah battery, customizable 12-17-inch touch screen, supporting audio and video communication with command vehicles.

3.                      communication transmission functions

3.1 4G LTE coverage

(1). Communication distance: 5-10km in open areas, 3-5km in suburban areas, and 1-3km in urban areas with severe building obstruction. The main vehicle (command vehicle) is equipped with a lifting rod to increase the coverage distance;

(2). LTE in car terminals and LTE in car base stations use a dedicated 600M frequency band;

(3). LTE vehicle terminals and LTE vehicle base stations provide encrypted communication, supporting multiple methods such as terminal verification and link verification to ensure information security.

3.2 MESH self-organizing network

(1). The single hop communication distance supported by MESH communication method is: 100-300 kilometers (line of sight), 1-30 kilometers (urban area); It is also possible to expand communication distance and supplement communication blind spots through unmanned aerial vehicle onboard equipment for relay;

(2). MESH vehicle terminals and MESH vehicle base stations provide DES encrypted communication, or AES128/256 encrypted communication can be selected.
