IDM-GE Gigabit Media Converter is photoelectric signal converter which can transfer the electrical signal of computer gigabit Ethernet into optical signal. It can comply with the IEEE802.3Z/AB standard. Its feature is that the electrical signal can be 10/100/1000Base-T adaptive, can be a full duplex, also can be a half duplex mode. The optical signal is only 1000Base-SX/LX full duplex mode and it has good stability and reliability.

1. Description

IDM-GE Gigabit Media Converter is photoelectric signal converter which can transfer the electrical signal of computer gigabit Ethernet into optical signal. It can comply with the IEEE802.3Z/AB standard. Its feature is that the electrical signal can be 10/100/1000Base-T adaptive, can be a full duplex, also can be a half duplex mode. The optical signal is only 1000Base-SX/LX full duplex mode and it has good stability and reliability.

2. Main futures

Gigabit Ethernet media converter support 2*RJ45 twisted pair interfaces and two optical fiber interfaces. These two kinds of interfaces are used to connect twisted pair and fiber. Gigabit media fiber has 9 LED indicators: POW, SD1, SD2, TP 1000, TP100, LINK1, Link2. Gigabit media converter support the device cascade function, easy to expand the business capacity. Under the point to multipoint networking mode, it can support the different manufacturers of Gigabit media converter as the connecting device to connect the gigabit optical switch.
