IDM-120A Multiservice PCM Multiplexer

Overview

IDM-120A Integrated Services Interleaving Multiplexer realized 120 channels, 64K services, non-congested, fully interleaving and multiplexing function based on 4 groups of E1. 19 inches 3 U standard cabinet and plug-in structure makes the maintenance and management rather convenient.

The device must/can be configured with a piece of E1 central management unit (CMU) (requisite), 15 pieces of user disks (USER), DC or AC power board. CMU disk provides 4 groups of E1 interfaces and manage or monitor E1 interfaces as well as USER disk. You can choose either DC or AC power disk; you can also choose double power supply (DC and AC). Each USER disk provides 8 user interfaces. You can control the sending/receiving gain of each voice channel on the panel of user disk. Hot plug and play is available. The types of services that USER disk provides are voice, data and video frequency.

Voice: polarity-flipped and Caller ID telephone, EM signaling, 2/4 wire audio frequency, hotline, magneto telephone, 2100Hz magneto carrier relay etc;
Data: V.24/V.28, RS-232/485, G.703 64K co-current data, V.35/V.11, 10/100 Base-T etc;
(5)    Flawless alarm and direction lights on the surface of the panel, such as LOS, LOF, AIS, MF, SMF, CRCE, plus rack alarm output interface;
(6)    Powerful net-guard function. It can configure, inquire and manage the equipments as well as the failure statistics online;
(7)    Flexible channel-associated signaling revising mode, convenient for connecting it with the equipments made by other factories, or realizing one-side access;
(8)    The frame structure possessing optional CRC-4 testing and PCM30/31 setting functions;
(9)    Very strong safety. The information of the device is stored in memory. When the electricity is given to the device, the stored information is loaded automatically.
