6.1 Matters Need Attention in Erection
This series of equipment built-in precision components, please handle with care to avoid severe vibration, so as not to affect the device performance. If you find the equipment was damaged in transit or any parts are missing, please notify the company's after-sales service, we will give you proper solution as soon as possible. Please note that when you open the package directions, ensuring face-up, so as not to lose accessory bag.
Check equipment and accessories in accordance with the packing list. Please note that the inspection and check whether it is consistent with the packing list.
Safekeeping the network configuration diagram order to reference during installation and maintenance.
The machine is mounted on 19-inch standard rack or cabinet. Equipment should be opened at will tighten the screws on the panel. Necessary equipment should be installed in the lower bracket to support the weight of the equipment.
Please be careful not to plug the device left and right ventilation holes.
Please note that don't have other impurities inside the chassis. When the equipment into the dust with a soft cloth to wipe.
6.2 Installation
Please put the device in the specified location when the device is installed on the cabinet mounting bracket tray, positioning the mounting ear holes in the cabinet rack positioning holes.
Be sure that straight, smooth when loading. If there is block, pallets or equipment should be checked whether the deformation occurs, not use brute force forced into the device, so as not to damage equipment.
1) Push device fully into the cabinet, make the earmuffs positioning hole and rack installation bracket positioning hole, tighten the rack screws, reliable fixed equipment and cabinets;
2) Connect the power cord;
Equipment Standard models configured as DC-48V power supply or AC220V, before the device is plugged in, measure whether access within the required range of equipment and power supply voltage power first;
a) -48V Power supply: -48V ± 10%;
b) AC220V Power supply: Standard AC220V ± 20%, 50Hz
3)Before the introduction of the power to the device, check the device's power switch is placed in OFF, if not, place it in the OFF。
4)Check -48V power line, GND (workplace) line, PGND (protected) line access is correct, whether the reverse polarity. How the device is properly connected to the power supply: low potential equipment -48V 48V power supply terminal and the engine room is connected to the high potential GND terminal equipment connected with 48V power supply room, PGND terminal is connected with the protected room.
5)There is a protective earth terminals after the lower left panel of the chassis, leave this terminal connected with protected area of machine room!
Note: The working and protected area of the device is separate, protected area and chassis are connected. The working and protected can be connected on power connections on backplane if it is needed. Make sure to solve problems common ground.
6) Ground technical advice: chassis housing of the equipment should be connected to protective ground. If the central office can provide working and protected area separately, the working and protected area should access to the appropriate ground copper bars. If the central office only provides one ground copper bars, the working and protected area of the equipment joint ground is allowed. Grounding resistor should work to meet the DC grounding resistance, less than 4Ω.
GND (power supply ground) and PGND (protective earth) of the equipment must be connected, connect the power cord only after confirming that the power line is connected correctly. If an exception occurs immediately after power, please off it, check and eliminate!
Ethernet cable have two kinds: one is cross line, another is through line. When Device connect PC should use cross line, when connect switch, should use through line
Through line: The pinout is the same both site.
