3. Introduction of Cable Making
4E1/8E1 PDH is a point to point fiber transmission device based on SLSI, which realizes 4/8E1 and 4 100M Ethernet transmission over fiber in a single board. 4E1/8E1 PDH is with perfect monitor alarm, high integration, low consumption, stable performance and easy to use.
◆ 4 Ethernet available with VLAN function
◆ Fiber speed: 150Mbps.
◆ HDB3 E1 coding rate. E1 Jitter tolerance, transfer characteristic, output jitter is fully comply with ITU-T G.702, G.823, G.742
◆ Ethernet auto adapt to full/half duplex, 10/100M.
◆ With perfect alarm function
◆ The remote device can work with chassis to connect as star network.
◆ RS232 network management or RS232 data optional
◆ Single board design, 1U and 19inches standard.
◆ AC220V and DC-48V power supply
The 4E1/8E1 PDH has 4 Ethernet ports and VLAN is offered by DIP switch.
4E1/8E1 PDH is designed with one channel RS232 with the form of RJ45.
4E1/8E1 PDH has perfect alarm including: NOP, OOF, 10-3 10-6 error code, LOS1~LOS8 for each E1 spur-track signal loss, LINK1~LINK4 for Ethernet link status.

Rear panel description
◆ AC220V: AC220V power input
◆ DC-48V/GND: DC-48V power input
◆ Switch: Dial to “AC” for AC220V power supply. Dial to DC for DC-48V power supply (don't need to distinguish from positive and negative). Dial to "OFF" indicates shut off the power.
◆ E1 1-8: 1-8 channel E1 interface
◆ ETHERNET: Ethernet interface
◆ NM/232: network management and RS232 data channel
◆ TX RX: optical output and input. It's not for single fiber.
Ⅴ. Installation and Maintenance
Open the package, check the device and accessory. If there is any short or loss, please contact us as soon as possible.
Power up the device, the power indicator will turn on. Then configure according to the requirement.
This is a precise photoelectrical device. Please handle with care to avoid damage. Protect against the tide and bump.
The device has been configured to the best status. All the function interfaces are in the front and rear panel. If you are not our technical, please don’t open the device.
Please contact the supplier promptly once there is malfunction.
