IDM RG2000-R SIP Wireless Radio Gateway

I       Overview

The IDM RG2000-R SIP Wireless Radio Gateway supports up to three base radios. Each radio has a fixed SIP protocol voice channel connected to the dispatch console for dedicated hotline use, with 1 to 2 additional SIP voice channels available for switching to any radio as needed. When a base radio has multiple voice channels, the radio and these channels form a voice conference room.

The gateway supports specifying a radio's operating frequency from the dispatch console. This frequency is transmitted using the standard MQTT IoT protocol, allowing for voice or digital commands to change the radio's channel frequency.

The trunked dispatch gateway registers with both SIP voice dispatch servers and IoT communication servers. It supports SIP soft-switch protocol and IoT MQTT protocol, with MQTT supporting PTT command transmission, serial radio frequency management, and radio power settings.

The dispatch console interface displays the station name, radio usage name, radio model, radio frequency, and the SIP hotline phone number. The console icons also show the radio's send/receive status and audio status on the SIP hotline.

The IDM RG2000-R SIP Wireless Radio Gateway provides audio interfaces for three VHF radios and serial interfaces for radio parameter control. It supports five SIP phone links that can connect to other SIP terminals via the dispatch server. Each radio has a dedicated voice conference room, allowing up to 6 parties, meaning one radio can simultaneously accommodate 5 SIP phone clients talking online.
